The standard swingline here is the stapler but it also has replacement staples available for certain different types of use. The Stapler Heavy Duty uses staples which are high capacity which is needed when you are working with heavy-duty items.
So, this is not a light-duty use stapler, the stapler which is packaged with the high-density staples are a better option for use when you are working with heavier-duty items. If you have the smaller staples or swingline staples (S7033269) these are not high-density staples and should come with the lighter-duty stapler.
The stapler is a staple driven stapler, where with the staple being driven into the item you are working on. So it is not using a coil stapler, and that is why this staple uses the heavier staples to drive. This is a heavy-duty stapler, for heavy-duty projects as well as the heavier items.
The Plier Stapler has two different hinges with it, one that goes in the front and has the plier portion of the stapler and one that goes along the side to stop the stapler from folding back to a pile formation when you are working on to something too large for this stapler.
This stapler weighs 1 pound, it has the extended depth so it goes further into the material and the extra wide staple opening of 3/8 inch to accommodate the bigger staples.
