The NuMax SP123 is part of a line of industrial nailers by NuMax. They are known for their sturdy, tough construction and featuring the features that DIY garage, business or professional applications need.
Their line of offerings has expanded to include some specialty applications, such as framing and trim, gluing, joining and laminating applications, caulking, contact adhesives and tack-driving.
This pneumatic pinner uses 23 gauge headless pin nails ranging from 1/2" to 1", and features a lightweight and durable aluminum body, ergonomic grip handle, reversible belt hook and trigger with a safety mechanism that prevents accidental firing. It is able to shoot pins up to 100 millimeters with a consistent staple penetration.
This unit is built for the long haul, with a comparatively short service life, and features a built-in anti-dust cap. The lightweight body is ideal for close up work in tight areas.
The unit is controlled by two knobs. The high speed drive control adjusts the power of the air, and the slow speed control adjusts the speed of ejection, in 0.1 second increments. This provides control over the jaws of the unit, and lets you change the size of the nails used within the unit.
